Blues Recall Cole from Peoria

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Friday the club has recalled defenseman Ian Cole from the Blues’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.

Cole, 21, has made 29 appearances for Peoria this season registering five points on one goal and four assists.

The 6’1, 221-pound defenseman has also played in 10 games and served 12 penalty minutes for the Blues this year including his NHL debut in the Blues’ 2-1 shootout victory on November 6 in Boston.

The Ann Arbor, Michigan native was originally drafted by the Blues in the first round, 18th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
