ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues Executive Vice President and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced Tuesday the club has reduced its roster to 29 players.

Forward T.J. Hensick has been assigned to the Blues’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.

The Blues will play their final two home preseason games, Thursday, Sept. 30 vs. Chicago and Saturday, Oct. 2 vs. Dallas. St. Louis will then conclude their preseason Sunday, Oct. 3 in Chicago prior to returning home to open their regular season schedule Saturday, Oct. 9 against the defending Eastern Conference Champion Philadelphia Flyers at Scottrade Center.
