“Cam has been a tremendous teammate and we’re happy to have him back for another season,” said Armstrong.
“St. Louis is my home and always will be,” said Janssen. “We have a great group of guys and I’m looking forward to start the season.”
Janssen, 26, played in 43 games last season and led the team with a career-high 190 penalty minutes.
The 6-0, 215-pound forward has played in five NHL seasons, skating in 206 games, registering six points (two goals, four assists) along with 544 penalty minutes.
The St. Louis, Missouri native was acquired by the Blues from New Jersey in exchange for Bryce Salvador on Feb. 26, 2008 and was originally drafted by New Jersey in the fourth round, 117th overall in the 2002 Entry Draft.
