Blues Sign Prospect Jori Lehtera

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced Tuesday that forward Jori Lehtera has signed an entry level contract with the Blues.
Lehtera was the Blues third round pick (65th overall) in the 2008 NHL Entry Draft.
“Jori had an excellent year this past season as he led the entire Finish League in points,” said Davidson. “Our scouts are very high on him and expect him to be a solid NHL player in the future.”
Lehtera, 22, led the Finish National League in points this past season and has recorded 158 points (41 goals 117 assists) in 169 games the past season three seasons for Tappara Tampere in the Finish League.
