Eller, Junland Named to AHL All-Star Team

Blues prospects Lars Eller and Jonas Junland will join the PlanetUSA All-Star Team roster for the 2010 Time Warner Cable AHL All-Star Classic, which will be played next month at the Cumberland County Civic Center in Portland, Maine.

The American Hockey League announced the team's roster on Wednesday, Dec. 29. The team consists of 24 players - 13 forwards, eight defenseman and three goaltenders - all born outside of Canada. AHL fans determined the starting lineups via online balloting, while a committee of AHL coaches selected the remainder of the roster.

All 29 AHL teams are represented by at least one All-Star.

Through 28 games this season, Eller leads all Rivermen players with 26 points (6 goals, 20 assists). Junland, a defenseman, ranks second on the team in points with 24 (8 goals, 16 assists) in 33 games played.
