Oshie Selected As Leading Calder Candidate

Hockey's Future lists Blues rookie as a top candidate for the rookie honors

Blues forward T.J. Oshie was selected as one of 2008-09's leading candidates for the Calder Trophy, awarded each year to the NHL's rookie of the year.

The distinction comes from Hockey's Future, who ranked Oshie among the league's top candidates for the trophy in an article published Aug. 6. Blues' Patrik Berglund is also mentioned as a possiblity for Calder honors.

Hockey's Future ranked the Blues as the No. 1 organization for the fall of 2007, rating the team's prospects higher than any other NHL club.
