The AT&T National Sportsmanship Awards celebrates athletes and personalities from around the nation that exemplify outstanding sportsmanship, citizenship, ethical conduct and community services. The awards program features major league superstars and local favorites, as well as individuals who may not necessarily be household names, but bring with them the most heartwarming stories.
Last year’s winners were Jamal Mayers, Rams quarterback Marc Bulger and retired baseball great Tony Gwynn.
Fans can attend the National Sportsmanship Awards by purchasing tickets for $150. Proceeds benefit the St. Louis Sports Commission’s charitable Sports Foundation and Sportsmanship Initiative, which creates more positive environments for kids to play sports so they will remain active and lead healthier, happier lives.
