David Backes, Lee Stempniak and Jamal Mayers represented the Blues at the IIHF World Championships. The tournament ran from May 2 to May 18.


Jamal Mayers took home the silver medal for Team Canada at the IIHF World Championships.

Lee Stempniak and David Backes represented the United States in the tournament, which began May 2 and wrapped up with the gold medal game on May 18.
