Oshie Named WCHA All-Star
T.J. Oshie
ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues prospect T.J. Oshie has been named to the 2007-08 All-WCHA’s first team. In addition, Oshie has been named as a top 10 finalist for the Hobey Baker Award which is given annually to college hockey’s most outstanding player.

Oshie, 21, a junior at the University of North Dakota, led the Fighting Sioux this season with 39 points (17 goals, 22 assists). He finished fourth in WCHA scoring with 29 points (12 goals, 17 assists) in 27 league games. Last season, Oshie was named to the WCHA’s third team.

The Mount Vernon, Washington native was originally drafted by the Blues in the first round, 24th overall in the 2005 NHL Entry Draft.
