Blues Acquire 4th Round Pick for Backman

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has acquired a 2008 4th round draft pick from the New York Rangers in exchange for defenseman Christian Backman.

Backman was the Blues' first round choice in the 1998 NHL Entry Draft.
