Blues Assign Woywitka to Peoria

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today the club has assigned defenseman Jeff Woywitka to the Blues’ American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen.
Woywitka, 24, has played in seven games with the Blues this season, registering one assist along with two penalty minutes. He has also skated in 50 games for the Rivermen this season, recording 29 points (10 goals, 19 assists) along with 33 penalty minutes.
The Vermilion, Alberta native has skated in 67 career NHL games, recording 10 points (one goal, nine assists) along with 39 penalty minutes.
