Calgary, AB. - Continuing his assault on NHL goaltenders, Chicago Blackhawks freshman forward Patrick Kane has retained his position atop Future Considerations' Calder Chase.

Registering 19 points in 16 games, Kane leads all rookies in assists(13), points(19), shots(50) and shares the lead in goals(6) and powerplay goals(2). Kane also leads rookie forwards in ice time, averaging nearly 19 minutes-per-game.

Fellow Blackhawk Jonathan Toews follows Kane for the fourth straight week. Toews shares the goal scoring lead with his Blackhawk bretheren with six goals.

Edmonton Oilers forward Andrew Cogliano regained his position behind Kane and Toews after a week in the fourth spot. Cogliano trails Toews by just two points. Cogliano was ranked first in the inaugural Calder Chase.

Phoenix Coyotes rookie Peter Mueller marks the third Phoenix Coyote forward to make the Calder Chase this season. He joins freshmen Daniel Carcillo and Martin Hanzal to form the first trio from one team to be ranked on the list at the same time.

St. Louis Blues forward David Perron also debuted on the list for the first time this season. A former member of the Lewiston MAINEiacs, Perron joins teammates Erik Johnson and Steve Wagner as the only Blues to make the list this season. The Sherbrooke, PQ. native was the Blues' third selection, 26th overall in the 2007 NHL Entry Draft.
