Blues Assign Toivonen to Peoria for Conditioning

ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today that the Blues have assigned goaltender Hannu Toivonen to its American Hockey League affiliate, the Peoria Rivermen on a conditioning stint.

Toivonen has skated in one game for the Blues this season, collecting a win in a relief effort on October 6, at Los Angeles, turning away seven of eight shots.

Toivonen will suit up for the Rivermen when they host the Quad City Flames tomorrow night in Peoria.
