Blues Sign Forward Chris Porter
ST. LOUIS – St. Louis Blues President John Davidson announced today that the team has signed forward Chris Porter.

The 6-2, 205-pound forward spent the previous four seasons at the University of North Dakota, scoring 30 points (13 goals, 17 assists) in his senior campaign, while helping his team reach the Frozen Four for the second consecutive season. He scored two goals in the semifinal loss to Boston College, marking the third time in his career he scored two goals in an NCAA tournament game.

Porter finished his career with 175 consecutive games played, a WCHA record for consecutive games played.

He was originally the Chicago Blackhawks ninth round selection, 282nd overall, in the 2003 NHL Entry Draft.
