Offseason Questions with Barret Jackman

Blues defenseman Barret Jackman recently signed a new one-year contract with the team. He took a few minutes to sit down with St. Louis Blues Online to discuss the past season, his offseason vacation plans and more.
Q. What was the biggest highlight of the 2006-07 season for you?

A. "Playing for the same team and training camp. Just getting back into hockey."

Q. What kind of offseason training programs will you participate in?
A. "You don’t want to lose the base that you have, so I’ll be working with (Blues Strength and Conditioning Coach) Nelson (Ayotte), riding the bike, running, skating and lifting weights."
Q. Will we find you in any Major League ballparks this summer?
A. "I’ll be down at Busch Stadium there, I’ll be watching a few games in between weddings, I guess."
A. "I appreciate all the support this past year. It was tough sledding, but we really appreciate everything that they do and we’re looking forward to next season."
