Stretch of Clark Avenue Renamed Brett Hull Way
Brett Hull is easy to spot these days.

In addition to being a studio analyst for the NHL on NBC, Hull’s name can be found in the NHL record books, hanging from the Scottrade Center rafters and even etched on the Stanley Cup.

Add downtown St. Louis to the list.

Blues President John Davidson announces on Dec. 5, 2006 that a stretch of Clark Avenue would be renamed Brett Hull Way.
Hull, whose No. 16 was retired by the Blues on Dec. 5, 2006, was on hand Friday as the Blues and the city of St. Louis renamed a stretch of Clark Avenue after the profilic goal scorer.

Scottrade Center now sits on Brett Hull Way.

“You look back there, there's not a lot of things better than having a street named after you," Hull said. "I really treasured my time here and appreciate all the support the fans gave me. ”

The unveiling was held before Friday night’s Blues game with the Nashville Predators. Ed Rhode, the Press Secretary for the City of St. Louis, and Blues President John Davidson were also in attendance for the ceremony.

"It's a special time when you think about someone like Brett Hull," Davidson said.

Hull is the Blues all-time leader in goals (527), hat tricks (27), game winning goals (70) and power play goals (195). The talented winger recorded 1391 points in 1269 career NHL games (741 goals, 650 assists).
