ST. LOUIS – The St. Louis Blues are focused on their surge toward a position in the 2009 Stanley Cup Playoffs while helping their valued Season Ticket Holders get a jump on next season by extending an offer to keep ticket prices the same price for the 2009-10 season.

The Blues are also giving Season Ticket Holders the first opportunity to purchase 2009 Playoff tickets at a significant discount.

In a letter sent to all Season Ticket Holders this week, the team is giving Season Ticket Holders the chance to “Ice Your Price” for the 2009-10 season if they renew on or before April 10 with as little as 10 percent down. Full and Half Season Ticket Holders who renew by April 10 will lock in their 2008-09 season ticket prices for the 2009-10 season and will also receive a variety of benefits including an Al MacInnis replica statue. After the April 10 deadline, all season ticket pricing will increase by 10 percent.

The Blues have also instituted “Pay as We Play” for their ongoing playoff push to all Season Ticket Holders. Those individuals will receive a discount on playoff tickets over general public pricing and be eligible for “Pay as We Play,” in which the Blues will only charge Season Ticket Holders for playoff tickets when games are guaranteed to be played.

“The Blues are grateful to have generations of passionate, loyal fans who have demonstrated their support for our long-range plan to the tune of 22 sellouts so far this season,” said Peter McLoughlin, St. Louis Blues Enterprises CEO. “We want to return the loyalty shown by our Season Ticket Holders and give them the opportunity to lock in their ticket prices for next season and receive significant discounts for Playoff tickets this year."

“The economy has created a considerable challenge for everyone. We are pleased to offer our loyal fans the chance to hold the line on an average ticket price that ranks in the lower third of the NHL.”
