Thanks to a great start to the season, Blues forward Alexander Steen's value in fantasy hockey leagues is soaring.
According to NHL.com Fantasy Insider Matt Cubeta, Steen "has developed into one of the most underrated forwards in the NHL and has received praise from coaches, teammates and colleagues throughout the early parts of the 2013-14 season. While his hockey IQ isn't the utmost importance to fantasy owners, his production certainly is."
Through seven regular season games, Steen leads the Blues with 11 points. His seven goals lead the team. He also has four assists.
As of Oct. 18 games, Steen ranked second in the league with 11 points (trailing only Pittsburgh's Sidney Crosby).
