On March 26, we asked Blues fans to submit questions for Blues forward Patrik Berglund on Twitter using the hashtag #askbergy.
We received plenty of good questions, and took some interesting ones to Berglund.
Below are some questions and his answers to each.
Why did you pick the number 21? - @adamdeis21
A: My dad played with it. He had that number and was the captain for my hometown team.
What would you be doing if you weren't playing hockey? - @sirtweetsoften
A: I'd be an actor. I have great acting skills, you know?
What does SnizzyDrizzy mean? - @squantoos21
A: Snizzy Drizzy? I have absolutely no idea. I guess it's some slang for something funny. You'd have to ask Shatty that one.
What is your preferred nickname? Iceberg? Bergdog? Other? - @Ryan_Parker
A: Berg the dog. The Bergdog.
What part of your game do you take the most pride in? - @patger23
A: The competitive part, you know? Compete on the puck.
Does your family get to watch Blues games live back at home? Do they come to St. Louis to watch you play? - @Rus44
A: They do, but they have to be up in the middle of the night. They usually come (to St. Louis) once a year.
Who did you idolize growing up in Sweden? - @tklostermann23
A: I would say Peter Forsberg and also in the years before I came to the NHL myself, I'd say (Henrik) Zetterberg.
