POSTPONED: Alumni vs. Mizzou Hockey

Game is postponed due to preparation for the 2012-13 NHL season

The Blues Alumni will face off with the Mizzou Hockey Club team in an exhibition game in Independence, MO on Friday, Jan. 18 at 7:05 p.m.

The "MO Hockey Showdown" is presented by Silverstein Eye Centers and will be held at at the Independence Events Center.

Scheduled Blues Alumni players include Bruce Affleck, Jon Casey, Darren Pang, Larry Patey, Bob Plager, Jamie Rivers, Tom Tilley, Tony Twist, John Wensink and Terry Yake. Additional players and coaching staff will be released in the upcoming weeks.

"The St. Louis Blues Alumni always love a good dose of competition, and this game will prove to be very entertaining.” said Terry Yake, the Director of Bles Alumni Relations. “We have a great bunch of Alumni coming, and we look forward to meeting the great hockey fans of Kansas City."

“We are very happy to be part of this event.” reiterated Mizzou Hockey Head Coach John Lamond. “Our guys are excited to step on the ice against this group of Blues greats. We anticipate a fun-filled night for both the players and the fans."

Tickets start at $20 and are on sale now. Tickets can be purchased online at Ticketmaster.com and at the Silverstein Eye Centers Box Office at Independence Events Center (open Monday through Friday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.). A portion of the proceeds will be donated back to the St. Louis Blues Alumni Association and the University of Missouri Men’s Hockey Club.
