After a win and a loss this weekend, the Rivermen are now 18-16-2-1 through 37 games. The Rivermen currently rank fourth in the Midwest Division and tied for eighth in the Western Conference with 39 points.
Jan. 6 – L 5-2 vs. Chicago | HIGHLIGHTS
Although the Rivermen and Wolves meet 10 times this season, Friday’s game was the final of five contests at Carver Arena. Chicago’s Mike Duco recorded a hat trick en route to a 5-2 win over Peoria and earned him a call-up to Vancouver just two days later. Stefan Della Rovere and Brett Sonne each scored for Peoria while Ben Bishop saved 27 of 31 shots on goal in his fifth consecutive start. The Rivermen went 0-for-4 on the power play while Chicago finished 0-for-3.
Jan. 8 – W 4-2 vs. Milwaukee | HIGHLIGHTS
The Rivermen power play went 3-for-7 in an impressive 4-2 win over the Milwaukee Admirals on Sunday. After a three-goal first period, Peoria chased Atte Engren from the net in favor of Jeremy Smith, who was sent down from Nashville earlier that morning. Brett Sterling and T.J. Hensick each recorded one goal and an assist and Jake Allen stopped 33 of 35 shots on goal in the win. The Admirals went 1-for-3 on the power play.

- After a two-point performance on Sunday, T.J. Hensick continues to lead the Western Conference in points and assists with 42 and 30, respectively.
- Rookie defenseman Cade Fairchild is still the league leader in plus-minus at +21.
- The Rivermen power play improved to 21.2% (33-for-156) on the season, which ranks fifth in the AHL and first in the Western Conference.
